Audrey Foster
Program & Grants Specialist

Audrey Foster is of Unangax̂decent and is an enrolled member of the Unga Tribe located in Sand Point, AK, where she was born and raised. Sand Point is a small fishing village located off the Alaska Peninsula. She graduated from Sand Point School in 2000 and continued her education in Alaska. In 2004 she moved back to the community where she lived until August 2014 when she and her son Kaiden, now 17, moved to Anchorage. She graduated from Alaska Career College in 2016 with an associates degree in accounting and business management. She worked for Southcentral Foundation from 2017 until December of 2024, where she worked in Finance, Rural Healthcare, and Grants Management. All of those positions made her passionate about providing services to Rural Alaska. Growing up in a small village, she saw first hand how the communities struggled without proper resources. She hopes her position with AKNWRC makes a difference in all the communities they support.
In her free time, she likes to be active and work on her physical health, be a social butterfly and spend time with her son and her cat, Sir Lazar Beam.
