Marissa Moses is Koyukon Athabascan and Inupiaq born and raised in Fairbanks Alaska, her Maternal side of the family is the Moses’ from Allakaket whereas her paternal side is the Williams of Ruby. Marissa completed high school and her associates degree down in Lakewood Washington and has since moved back to Fairbanks in pursuit of her BA degree. Marissa has previously volunteered with HNHC in her teenage years alongside her Grandmother Shirley Moses and has since been interested in continuing her Grandma’s legacy by helping better our Native communities and being a part of creating a safe, positive environment for future generations.
