The Praxis Advocate Wellness course will explore activities to sustain advocate wellbeing when responding to and serving survivors. The 3‑day in person event will provide didactic information and experiential opportunities designed to expand skills and knowledge about the practice of wellness. This learning will enhance the ability of participants to address both their own and survivors’ wellness.

This unique training summit focuses on the intersection of technology and domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and trafficking. Covering a wide range of technology-related issues, this conference will be helpful to advocates, law enforcement, and legal professionals who work with survivors of abuse.

The Tribal Governments Summit provides Tribal communities working to address domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, sex trafficking, and stalking an opportunity to build their capacity across the core purpose areas of the Tribal Governments Program.

The National Sexual Assault Conference brings together over 2,000 advocates committed to ending sexual abuse, assault, and harassment. This annual event is filled with opportunities to advance learning, develop skills, share information, build relationships, and increase our capacity to assert the dignity of all people.

The Alaska Native Women’s Resource Center would like to extend a heartfelt invitation to our Annual Unity Meeting, “Increasing the Safety of Alaska Native Women.”
Your voices and experiences are crucial to addressing the crisis of violence against women and building stronger protections within our communities.

Registration: Registration is required to attend, and you may register HERE. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
In collaboration with our National partners, our Unity meeting will focus on:
- Strengthening tribal responses to violence against women
- Addressing gaps in current justice systems
- Sharing successful tribal programs and traditional approaches
- Building unity in our advocacy for needed resources and reforms
- Developing strategies to enhance victim services in rural communities
Your participation will help shape solutions that honor our traditional values while meeting the urgent safety needs of our women. We especially encourage sharing of your tribe’s experiences, challenges, and successful approaches to protecting women in your communities. Together, we can strengthen our voice and create lasting change for the safety of our women and the wellbeing of our communities. Please feel free to share this with others who may be interested!

We do ask that participants be available to attend all five days.
